I recently upgraded my laptop's HDD. The old HDD had the click of death, but since they were only three bad sectors, I figured that I could use it as temp. storage for unimportant stuff.
The old HDD has not been formatted or anything - I just put it into a spare USB enclosure unit, installed the drivers and accessed it. However, when I attempted to access My Documents in the old HDD, I am treated to an error message saying 'E:\Documents and Settings\BigRed not accessible. Access is denied'
I figured that it has something to do with that particular user account having a login password. But I am unable to boot the old HDD'd Windows to remove the password. How can I regain access to my old My Documents folder?
Thank you for your time.
