So my wireless connection sucks and I look up a guide on how to make a good wireless antenna. I don't want a directional antenna, I was looking for an omnidirectional one. Here is the best guide I found:
http://wireless.gumph.org/articles/homemadeomni.html
The only problem is that I don't have the type of coax cable that the guide mentions, and as such I need to make corrections for the differences in Velocity Factors. I do not, however KNOW the velocity factor of this cable, and googleing comes up fruitless. The type of cable I have is BELDEN T 9104 DUOBOND II-BRAID CATV COAX 20 AWG 75 OHM GM. Unless the Velocity Factor is hidden somewhere in that name or I can find some kind of guide that will tell me the velocity factor, I can't make this antenna.
My question is this: Can anyone tell me the velocity factor of this cable, where to find the velocity factor, or an alternative homemade omnidirectional antenna making method?
