OSX on generic PC hardware?

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-19 1:53

So I want to tool around with OSX.  Thing is, I don't want to spend $a lot on a Mac.  I've read a little about project x86.  I'll need an Intel x86 processor for sure, but could anyone with a little more experience in this area help me out?  Could I just use any old modern video card/hdd/mobo/etc?

(and christ, let's keep the omg osx blows aruments to a minimum)

you have to have at least sse2 support on your processor, thats the major requirement. sse3 is better, but sse2 will work with a patch.

Don't change these.
