Don't Close Dos Prompt

Name: Anonymous 2006-08-10 8:54

For example; When I try to RUN/ipconfig /all.. it shuts down after a few seconds. It's a bit odd. Because when I try to reopen it from CMD it works perfectly. It's a pain to bring up CMD and run every single dos-program from there.
It's been like this for a while and I can't figure why it won't work. Anyone know?

Well... it's supposed to work that way. The program has no prompt, so after it echoes its data, it's done.

Just keep a prompt up at all times. It can't hurt.

Start->run->cmd->open your dos program by navigating to it in CMD.
