Hey guys. I am using ubuntu 6.06 and wanted to install wine. I'm not familiar with wine, but I apt-got it and it seems to have set up correctly. Now I need to know how to use it and how it works. Thanks

user@machine: ~$ winelauncher
click 'configure wine'
set up things as you see fit
click OK
user@machine: ~$ wine /path/to/setup.exe (or something..)
KMenu -> Debian -> Wine -> Programs -> ... (if yuo have 'menu' installed)
or
_/ user@machine: ~$ cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/---
\ user@machine: ~$ wine program.exe
or just
user@machine: ~$ wine program.exe
1. Add twenty unofficial unsupported repositories.
2. Search an unofficial forum for the package name.
3. Install Cedega.
4. Uninstall Cedega.
5. Install Wine.
6. Give up.
7. Switch to a real distribution where you do not have to add package repositories to get basic packages, and where every guide, yes exactly every guide, I dare you to find one that does not, start with 500 words describing the process of adding extra repositories.
8. ????
9. pacman -S wine, or, emerge -av wine
10. Profit.
