Windmodems in Linux

Name: Anonymous 2006-07-02 20:14

I'm trying to find drivers for a Lucent Windmodem for use in Ubutnu 5.10 (debian if you didn't know), but I can't seem to find any that don't require any kind of apt-sudo get (which is retarded, because if you're trying to install a driver for a modem, you obviously don't have access to the internet) or any that aren't compiled as a package (all the ones I've found have had individual .deb files instead of compressing it all in a tar.gz). If any of you know where I may find some, it'd be a big help.
