Well I just got a HDtv secondhand from my grandmother, and I have my PS2 hooked up to it right now. It doesn't look too great on there to be honest, but I know I need the component cables instead of the composite cables to really make an impact graphically. I just wasn't sure if there's anything else I need, or just the component cables. Any help?

You'll probably want sound, too. Get an optical audio cable if your hand-me-down supports digital.
Also, what kind of granny has an HDTV to hand down? (presuming she upgraded)

Lol does she have any old second-hand blu-ray gear, maybe even an old PS3 that she doesn't use any more?

Well I got the component cables, all hooked up well and the picture looked great. The only problem I have is that in some games there are A LOT of jagged edges and the like. Anybody have an idea how to get rid of them?
