Site friendly wget or other ripping methods?

Hi guys!

Is there any way to set relaxed downloads for wget to not hammer websites? Or other site friendly way to d/l automaticly the pages (for example only from /g/ and /k/) time to time (like 2 times per day)? I will go on vacation and don't want to miss anything :) [Is this the sign of image board addiction?!]
