got my hands on a used laptop....

I am "test driving" my friend's older inspiron 2200 before I throw money at him for it. Its in decent shape, perfect keyboard and still runs decently. I will do an XP reinstall sometime this week, but I'll do that when I'm sure I want this thing (I'm using it to post this) It seems to be the base model, with a 1.4ghz processor and 512mb memory.

Friend wants $350 for it. I plan on it being my workhorse for college, light emulation and light photoshop editing. Previously it was used to run WoW rather decently.

Thoughts?

350$ for a decent laptop is a very good price. If it has decent HD space and wireless capabilities, then its a steal for that price.

Yes,it has wireless built in too. It has a 40 gig harddrive.
