trying to identify a phone

A friend gave me this phone, however, I have no idea what's the name or series of this phone is. On the back, where it should have like an ID TAG or somthing to identify it, has been scratched off. If one has this phone or knows what it is could plese tell me. thanks!

if a friend gave it to you, why don't you ask them what it is?  Or by 'friend' do you mean 'owner of the car / house I stole it from'?
