Television suggestions

/r/ TV suggetions, why you like that shiz, and cons because no TV is perfect. Only requirements are:
1) HDTV w/ built-in HDTV tuner
2) Component is the only input I need, DVI or HDMI are a plus but not required
3) MSRP under 999 US dollars and 99 US cents

You're not going to get a fantastic TV if you aren't willing
to fork out the cash for it. I have a Sony Trinitron XBR, 4,500 USD. Incidentally, I also have a working twenty year old Sony Trinitron in my bedroom. I don't know what the fuck Trinitron exactly means, but get one, why don't you.

Trinitron is Sony's way of raping you up the ass and making you enjoy it.
