I bought an IBM A22m Thinkpad notebook for $5

It has no harddrive, 64 mbs of ram, and a pentium 3.

I put the Damn Small Linux disk in the CD drive, and it begins to boot. When it is supposed to show the two penguins, it displays a blank screen. What do you think the problem is?

Fubar... time to run a ram test. Otherwise it's just incompatable video card - google is your friend.

try puppy linux, or get a harddrive and install ubuntu
