What I really need to know is simple, If I had to use one printer for three computers, (One of which is a wireless laptop), do I connect the printer to a router or a HUB?
I mean, I was told earlier that if I wanted to connect a printer to a whole network one of the ways would be to use a USB to RJ45 adapter onto the printer and to a router (with a wireless access point). What Im trying to figure out though, is if the laptop is wireless then what am I supposed to do with this hub?
I connect the computers and servers to the hub, and the hub to the router, and the router to the modem. But not the laptop?
For the record, I admit my ineptitude in this matter.
(Oh, and this has been pissing me off for a while, but whenever I try to hit a forward slash key and other symbolss my computer keeps bringing up that little find toolbar, what the fack?)
