I want to install a secondary hard drive to a friend's computer. The primary is a 20GB Maxtor 92041U4 and I want to add a 20GB Maxtor D740X-6L.
The primary has been in use and is over half full, OS and other media. The second one also has an OS. I set them both to the appropriate Master/Slave jumper configurations, and it just says "No Operating System". Do I have to get the OS off of the second one? I'm kind of at a loss, I've never done this. Thanks a lot.
