headphones

I'm looking for a good pair of headphones, the best I can buy for under 100 US dollars. I was considering going to Fry's or something on my own and just looking around, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone could offer a suggestion first.

I have an Altec Lansing AHS502, but sound has stopped coming out from one of the speakers, and the microphone latch broke off a while ago. I wouldn't be adverse to buying another Altec Lansing, but I would probably want something of higher quality.

i picked up a pair of sennheiser HD580 prec cans for 99 on sale
they retail for 299 - but you can find them cheap if you shop around
these cans provide me with the best listening experience ever!!!!!!

You will probably want to try out any set of phones before you buy them, take a CD along to the store and get what sounds good :)
