Hi this may be a long shot on 4chan does anyone here know watches?

I have a Omega seamaster and I bumped it against something today and the dialls are not moving now the tuning fork mechanism is buzzing and nothing seems to be rattling only the dialls are not moving .

Do these things use batteries could that be it .

I mean i am pissed the fucking thing cost $4000 it should be able to take a bump shouldn't it I mean i have a crappy old watch it has been bumped against things fallen on the floor and it is still running .

And please no haha you $3000 watch is screwed servse you right .

$4000 Omega Seamaster is probably an "automatic" watch, meaning it's a self-winding mechanical watch. You're lucky to own one. Send it back to Omega, or to a reputable watchmaker. Have it serviced (cleaned, lubed) too. This watch will outlive you if properly cared for and serviced every few years.
