cloud of pixels on a fancy TV

hay guys, my (relatively) new High Definition 42 inch plasma TV was working great until all of a sudden the screen shows a cloud of red/green/blue pixels and the rest dark. Every time i turn it on, a large cloud of random pixels appears and it dances across the screen before the TV turns itself off. As of right now, that is all it does.

It happened while i was watching TV, so aside from that, I did nothing to it. Now, I need to know if its something fixable, or am I gonna have to return the thing? Im worried cause i spent an arm and a leg for it, and I still havent finished paying it off.
Actually, what really worries me is if its something that could have been caused by my own wrongdoings. Any Ideas why theres sound but only displays a moving cloud of incoherence?

Your TV will need to be returned for repair/replacement. Something has gone haywire inside it. It's unlikely to have been caused by any "wrongdoings", unless you've been humping the TV or something (you haven't been humping it, have you?).
