Web Phones

I'm looking around for a phone with a full qwerty keyboard. Ive read some reviews of the blackberry, sidekick, treo etc. They all look reasonable for my needs. I currently have cingular so I tend to lean toward settling for a blackberry because its easier than having to swap carriers and everything. My biggest concern is that I'll head out and buy one only to see a new gen come out in a week or so. (this happend to me with my ipod, i bought the normal 20gig color a few weeks before the slimmer video enabled ones came out =[ )
Anyway- any news about new stuff coming out, or reccomendations of which to get? Thanks!

Do not buy a sidekick

T-Mobile will charge you wrong or fuck up your service and you will be fucked. It's a fucking shame that Verizon or someone worth dealing with doesn't have something as cheap and all-around as the sidekick. T-Mobile is a company you DO NOT WANT
