Is Mobiblu DAH-1500i USB 2.0 only?

Is Mobiblu DAH-1500i USB 2.0 only? I read in the site that it is supposed to "support" USB 2.0, not REQUIRE it. I have a computer with (what I believe is) an USB 1.1 connection (not USB 2.0), running Windows XP SP 1.

When I plug it into my USB connection, the player "boots up", showing a screen with the symbols "READY", a computer, F5, and USB. But this screen keeps flashing, and the drive does not appear automatically under My Computer. I have "forced" detection by running Start > Control Panel > Add Hardware. When I did this, the drive was initially detected, but disappeared afterwards. Then, a window showed saying "a HI-SPEED drive was connected into a not-HI-SPEED port". The system wizards prompted to fix the problem but only said "this computer does not have a HI-SPEED port".

Anyone else had this problem? I'm trying to reach their FAQ, to no avail (always times out). I also sent them an e-mail, but doubt it'll work. Meanwhile I gotta search someone with an USB 2.0 port to plug it and see if it works.

gah, it's working now. I had connected it not directly to my USB port, but rather into an USB extension cord I have (my computer lives under the table, and I use the extension to bring the USB above it). Seems like it doesn't like the extension...

Maybe the extension prevents the battery from charging, or resets the connection? It used to work with my old pendrive, so I know it's not exactly broken...

Don't change these.
