iPod or HP rx1955 Pocket PC

I was looking into getting an iPod so I could watch videos on the go. The music feature would probably be the least used because I don't listen to music much. Seeing that I started to think that getting an iPod would be a waste. So I decided to look into getting a Pocket PC. After a while I was thinking of getting one of these:

Would getting one of these be a wise choice? Or should I get something else? If there is something better, please tell me. But do keep in mind that my budget is at $300 (not including tax). I guess I could go a little higher but it has to be really worth it.

Maybe wait and see what will come of the rumoured touch screen ipod with a bigger screen? I certainly wouldnt even consider a current gen ipod to use as a video player, tiny screen.

That's what I have, and it works very well as a video player... I consider it worth the 300$  although keep in mind you will be needing a large SD card for storing your video files on the go.  Otherwise you can just stream the video files over your wireless connection.  As an added bonus, if you don't mind re-encoding your video files, you can use pocked divx encoder to really compress your video files... and take a few series on the road with you.

Don't change these.
