Hello!

I recently bought a HTiaB (Pioneer) and everything is going smoothly, except for one port on the tuner which produces 'static noise output' every so often .

I moved the speaker from the bad port to a good port and nothing incorrect happens, then I take another speaker and plug it into the bad port and the 'static noise' occurs, but not has bad as before.

After cutting and stripping more cable, everything seems to run better, especially it is not as sporadic.

However, does anyone have any tips on stripping the cable/plugging in the cable/cleaning the cable/cleaning the port?  I've heard some people folding the wire over the cable insulation and plugging the entire thing in.

Thanks for any assistance!

Don't change these.
