Remote controlled light

I need a tiny led/light controlled by a remote, when the remote is pressed the light is on.
I'd assume I need an RF type signal to make the light respond while inside a car.
Is there anything premade or an easy way to do this?

Could you describe your application? There are a couple ways to do this, some easier than others. But which way you do it will depend on your application.

It's just an indicator controlled by someone spectating outside of my car, so I know when to stop and go. The light turns on when the remote controlling device is pressed.

Just buy a $5 RC-car, break it appart and replace the motor with a lamp, etc.
