Handheld GPS

I know a few of those handheld GPS devices have basemaps (i.e. Garmin Vista, Garmin GPSMAP). Are there any heldheld devices which are good enough for in car navigation though, or am I going to have to buy two devicess?

The Garmin 60CS would be my recommendation-- a girlfriend has one-- but all of Garmin's mapping GPSRs have to be loaded up with Mapsource data as well (the installation software is Windows only-- being an iBook owner, she gets the GPS shop owner to download the maps for her. She also claimed it as a business expense :).
