PAL SNES polarity

...anyone know what it is? I've got an old Yamaha keyboard that requires 9-12v, centre positive - the SNES AC adapter is 9v and fits, but there's no indication of the polarity anywhere on the adapter or console.

I'm guessing the 12volts is for european plugs. I would say to try and find a plug for the keyboard and not use a snes plug..

Devices that run on low voltage DC from an external adapter take the same power all over the world, it's just the AC adapter that differs.

If you're after an AC adapter for your keyboard, just get one of those generic, multi-voltage adapters with multiple plugs (some have a sort of star-shaped all-in-one plug, others have swappable tips). Just make sure the adapter can supply enough amperage to run the keyboard okay (it shouldn't be too much - keyboards aren't as a rule particularly high-power devices).

Don't change these.
