Nonsense, you mean. Digital projectors don't necessarily cost more than a large screen (cheap digital projectors cost less than even a moderate PDP). Image quality is dependent upon more than just whether something is rear-projected (cheap rear-projection sets are ass, but the more expensive setups are very nice - likewise the cheap LCDs and even PDPs are rancid). And you can (or could) get big screen TVs that aren't projectors, LCDs or PDPs (yes, they really did make 50" CRTs - very heavy, very delicate, very expensive, but definitely not flat).
