I'm looking into buying an iaido uniform, and the requirements for my dojo specify that the student wear an outer black keikogi, and a white "under keikogi". My question to you is, how would I fit myself with such similar garments? Should I buy the white keikogi a size smaller than the black one, etc.?

I think the guys at your dojo would answer this question better. (Plus, I can't think that a beginner wouldn't be allowed to train the first few times without the exactly proper uniform.)
