EPL Discussion

So we've just entered the 'Crucial Christmas Period' of games and Man Utd and Chelsea are still out in front with a sizeable lead. However with teh pressure they're putting on each other I wouldn't count out Liverpool or Arsenal just yet. Both have hit some form lately and could stage a comback if they defeat the top two.

At the other end of the table Charlton Athletic appear to be in utter disarray, though they have appointed Alan Pardew as their new manager yesterday. Watford FC lack the quality needed to stay up as demonstrated by the work they put in against Liverpool in their last game which still ended in defeat. The last relegation position is anyone's IMO.

So /sports/ what's gonna happen in 2007 for the rest of this season? Will Man Utd and Chelsea pull away again and keep it a two way race for the title?

MANUTD WINS

Liverpool don't have the quality to win the league. It's a two horse race and it has been for months. I fancy Man United to win it.

1. Manchester United
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Liverpool
5. Portsmouth
6. Bolton/Tottenham
7. Newcastle/Bolton

The gap is even bigger now, and Chelsea are without JT. They're in shit form, anyway. Man United for yet another Premiership title. Where the fuck is OUR trophy? ;_;

Man Utd will win it easily. And unfortunately.

chelsea will have it

chelsea will have it

chelsea is failing it massively.  three draws in a row?  Lampard managing to clear the crossbar from a few feet away, at the crucial moment?  ugh.

what's mourinho's excuse this time?

"bububub john terry is injured!! we can't win without john terry! don't blame me!"

Exactly. If he wants a real injury crisis look at Newcastle, most of our first team players are injured, we're playing with kids from the youth team ffs.

Liverpool beat Chelsea. Fukken owned etc. Great win for Arsenal too. If Liverpool beat United and Arsenal beat Chelsea then we could have a decent race after all.

Name: Anonymous 2007-01-25 5:59

Liverpool are too incompetent to get back into the title race. Man United won't drop the points.

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-06 23:20

Shame it seems United will Run with it.

Van Der Sar out with a broken nose might slow them down a bit.
