What font do i need to install to view the art
instead of ????

Mona font, or update the languages on your OS. There's Gothic MS or something like that in Windows that allows for proper viewing other than mona font, and there are a bunch that just come with a Mac. I don't know about Linux or Unix.

Kuma has a stripe that pedobear does not. Since the SJIS version of kuma does not show the stripe, it is interchangeable, at least in my mind. Even Kuma likes to be around cute girls, he just doesn't have the intention to screw a 3 year old.

Mona makes Latin characters look like shit because of anti-aliasing. The MS fonts make Latin characters look like shit because of lack of anti-aliasing. They both make me sad.
