Hello. Taking chemistry in university because I thoroughly enjoy the subject. Now what would you people say is the best way to go into a research? not trolling, just wondering about career oppurtunities besides teacher that are available.
Preferably in UK or Caribbean

It's hard in the UK. Astra Zen recently closed their factory near Leicester. Just do a Phd or maybe a post doc and they'll bite your hand off practically anywhere. Otherwise just apply to the big companies like Pfeizer, Bayer, GSK. All the cunts.
Also why you want to be a lab monkey the rest of your life I don't know. I found chemistry research fucking boring but best of luck to you.

Design weapons for the government. Or pharmaceuticals, yeah. You'll find plenty of drug jobs in the US if you don't mind moving.
If you want assloads of money and don't afraid of the man, go into the illegal sector. Pure molly or some of the other drugs described in TiHKAL and PiHKAL are worth bank.
