Minecraft Math Time

Hey guys, I need your help here because I've forgotten most of the relevant math for this...

Let's say I'm building a house in Minecraft in the shape of a rectangular prism, dimensions are 25x25x10 blocks (cubes, if you're unfamiliar with the game). Assuming the walls are 1 block thick and the building is otherwise hollow, how many blocks would I need in order to make this house?

You need to tell us how tall the trees are, where they are available at all.

The floor is 25x25x1=625 that leaves the walls, now you gotta subtract 1 to their height since that's the floor, and 1 to their length since that one gets shared with one adjacent wall, so it's 4(24x9x1)=864
864+625=a fuckton of blocks

What's the point of minecraft? Can you build robots or at least automated stuff there?

Thus the whirligig of time brings in his Ding-a-Ling.

Don't change these.
