A pill to increase height

So I thought about people who want to be taller (including dwarfs). I remember hearing about a condition called Gingantism; where a tumour on the pituitary gland causes excessive secretion of growth hormone, which in turn causes people to be extremely tall.

If growth hormone can be synthesized artificially, could it be ingested or injected to make people bigger?
