you physically resemble your mother more or your father?
My claim is that evolutionary psychologists suggest that people are more likely to say that a child resembles the father—apparently so that the father will be more likely to protect and care for the child. I am trying to demonstrate that even though in modern times, more people are likely to say that they resemble their father. So, I plan to ask 100 randomly selected students (ignoring the obvious gender differences) if they most resemble their mother or their father. For each gender, I will test the null hypothesis that p = 0.5 and by performing a chi-squared test for homogeneity.
