If the sun suddenly disappeared, would earth leave it's orbit before the last rays of light hit the planet?

Because if that's true, then the force of gravity is faster than the speed of light.

It would produce what is called a Gravitational wave. Predicted by general relativity gravitational waves travel at the speed of light.
