Write an equation in standard form with the integral coefficients for the line through the point (-4,-2) and parallel to y=-11/9x+21.
Alright, this one has stumped me over and over again because somehow my answer has to be _____= -62...and I keep getting fractions. How do I solve??

to be parallel,  m = -11/9
then plug m = -11/9, y = -4, x = -2 into y = mx + b to get b
then convert to standard form

another tip - you can eliminate fractions from the initial equation -2=(-11/9)(-4)+b if you multiply every term (there are three of them) by 9.
