China used weather manipulation to try to cut the pollution out of the air for the Olympic games.

The technology is there. There are private companies even that offer to attempt to manipulate the weather for particular events. I doubt the material is present in normal contrails though. I think it's some kind of aluminum oxide dust that acts as nucleation points for the water.. But I don't really know.

I believe in it. About two years ago, I had a plane pass by spraying stuff and after I'd say 45 minutes I went into my back yard to check and in some areas there was this milky substance on some parts of the lawn. I then got a mason jar and some gloves and collected as much of it as I could and I told someone from a local lab about it. He said to bring it in to have it analyzed, and it turned out it contained some heavy metals and some pesticides that are used on large factory farms to keep crops clean and bug free.

Of course this is just an anecdotal story from me, but I certainly believe that planes do spray some crap over people's homes. I don't know if it's the government doing it or just corrupt corporations trying to secretly get rid of their toxic crap. Whether or not it's being done deliberately is another story altogether.

Pesticides are routinely sprayed over residential areas. All the fucking time. There are many serious pests that cause billions in damages to crops and homes that need to be controlled. There is generally plenty of warning of what pesticides will be used and when, but most people are ignorant as to where to go to find this information. Not that it really matters. The stuff is harmless.

In the southern United States, it is common to see trucks spraying in residential areas (even around children) for mosquitoes. The chemicals are completely safe for humans and animals unless you put the hose in your mouth and drink a gallon of it. Then you'll probably vomit, but you'll survive. People love the truck spraying crews (due to media exposure of Malaria and West Nile outbreaks in the weeks prior). Why is it suddenly so fucking scary when a plane is used to vastly increase efficiency and reduce costs?

OP is making a valid point about weather manipulation being used, Paul Mccartney purportedly used something similar over a gig in Moscow to get rid of rain, it is a viable possibility for the future, only problem; people like >>5 and to a certain extent people like >>8 would obviously kick up a shitstorm if they found the government were doing it.

Well if it's going to be done, people should receive some kind of fucking WARNING before so. At least a fucking letter in the mail or something. That should at least be the usual procedure when informing the public when something that could affect their health is being sprayed arbitrarily all over the place.
