What is a good value of N in human research?

When you come from invertebrates research and used to see something like (n=14000) and now see that NOOBISH "n".

What I should do? Trust that low N?

whatever you think it is, choose its contradistinction.

Actually it should be equal or more than 30. The gaussian distribution is significant when it is higher than 30...
