"laziness"

Hello /sci/,
Could you explain to me why people are willing to go out of their way "to be lazy".
Examples:
  Walking an extra 20 feet to the automatic door instead of pushing open the other door.
  Waiting an additional 5 minutes instead of going up a flight of stairs.
I'm sure you've observed others. Is it just a habit people get into? Has there ever been a study into this.

How do you think I know where you live and you don't know where I live? You talk too much...I could hear your thoughts from miles away, thought all you have to do is think it and I can hear it!
Also, I am somewhere, in the last place you would ever think to look. Probably because you don't believe a word I am saying which is funny cause now you are training yourself to ignore what people are saying and how they are saying it instead of paying attention and maybe learning something useful for your life, but meh, who am I to judge...I'm just the Man fucking up your shit in your ego-castle...you should be damn-near neurotic by now, eh? Things getting a little frustrating? A little awkward? A little uncertain? Just to let you know, your insecurities are showing! :D

And last but not least...if you think I'm not where I have said I am...have you taken the time to look? Have you taken the time to listen? Then how can you say for certain? Are you just assuming your way to the truth...the neurotic truth? :3
Deluding yourself into fantasies of grandeur and confabulating your experiences so terribly that nothing outside of you seems real anymore?

Don't worry, it'll all be over soon anyway. And last but not least so that you will believe me. I am not in your ego-castle fucking up your shit.




...then again, what is the truth to someone who only listens to lies? :3
