indestructible bubble

Name: Anonymous 2010-01-22 14:16

So lets say you have this indestructible bubble in which is water. Now lets say you press with unlimited power against all sides of the bubble, so it will be forced so downsize. What would happen with the water in it, assuming it couldn't get out of the bubble? Would it also respond with unlimited power or would it shrink, aswell?

of course it would shrink.

I assume it would probably loose the properties of water, and once compressed beyond it's schwarzschild radius, condense down into a gravitational singularity.

after certain compression it would first turn into liquid and then very very tiny solid. we did this experiment in physical chemistry lab, increasing the pressure of a gas in a closed space eventually yields a liquid. but further pressure would crack the tube so we stopped there. an ocean of water's pressure wouldn't be enough to compress it further than solid, namely no black hole formation.

yes, that is what your brain is encapsulated within. :/

Not above the critical temperature.  Good luck getting liquid oxygen that way.

so it will be forced so downsize.  What would happen with the water in it,

It will be auctioned off, or liquidated, if you prefer...

number 9 you rasist white piece of shit

atmospheric pressure causes water to turn solid, where thermal energy will turn it gas, so if you put water under high atmospheric pressure and high temperature, it will exist in all three states of matter (excluding plasma)

nothing will happen to the bubble due to the spherical symmetry of the bubble.

Don't change these.
