PhD worth it?

In some math related field... what do you guys think?

Will you be "overqualified" for many jobs? Why don't employers like PhDs?

If you only intend to complete the degree for job security you may want to reconsider.  Unless you're really into math, like you would rather do math during your free time as a hobby.  Also, I'm not exactly sure what a PhD in math would qualify you for aside from teaching (err, assuming you're not talking about stats).

You use the ``fag'' suffix outside /b/ ? I pity you.

I didn't know they used that suffix there, for I don't visit /b/, unlike lower forms of life such as yourself.
