Question: Is it possible for me to pursue a field in science with these grades? I'm sure most academic institutions would look past sophomore year and, hopefully, realize I have potential...
My grades -
Freshman year: 1st semester - B's and A's every class; 2nd semester - failed every class except health and intro. sci;
Sophomore year: 1st semester - failed ever class except Amer. history, biology, and English; 2nd semester - failed every single class;
Junior year(currently 1st semester, starting second semester Feb. 01): 1st semester - B's every class(online school);
failed ever class except Amer. history, biology, and English
This would imply you are taking 6 or more courses per semester? Why are you taking that many courses? Are you in high school?
Regardless, you have no future in science. Go work for the city.

It's never too late but you need to get serious and work hard.

If you can make it into college, you can try pursuing a science major. No one's going to stop you. You can always fall back on something else. The big step for you is going to be finding a school to enroll you. Put in as much effort as you can this current semester, and apply a lot of places. If you have decent SAT scores you'll probably make it through somewhere. Obviously you're won't be in harvard or anything, but where you go to undergrad doesn't matter as much as some people make it out to. You could even go to community college and transfer to a state school or something if you get good enough grades in CC. There are possibilities.

High school doesn't mean dick. You'll probably have to start out in community college but there's no reason those high school grades will otherwise ever affect your chances at uhh.. "being a scientist."
If you bust your ass at community college and can handle calculus and university level science classes you can go to a shitty, cheap public university. If you bust your ass there you can get into grad school. And if you got straight A's (with maybe a few B's) you can get into a good grad school with a good GRE score. Or you can stay at your shitty, cheap public university and not accrue a hundred thousand dollars in debt. Your Ph.D will probably take a minimum of four years. If you're working or want a life outside of school it will probably take longer.
This is all assuming you actually have talent and are willing to work.

OP, your suddenly decline after your first semester means that you have become deluded or corrupt in some way. You seriously need to rethink what it is that you are trying to achieve here and try to develop a clearer perspective before you can hope to continue with anything.
