Ebook textbooks and an ebook reader

Name: Anonymous 2009-12-14 17:05

Has anyone out there ever used "etextbooks" on an ebook reader?

If so, what did you make of the experience?

I was thinking of picking one up and downloading the texts for some compulsory English classes.

Also, can anyone recommend a site for downloading ebook textbooks?

IMO ebooks are ok for looking up things, but I could never read an entire book staring at a computer screen.

Thats why I'm thinking of getting an ebook reader.
The E ink display (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E_Ink) is supposed to look like real paper and not be fatiguing to the eyes.

Real books > digital bullshit. At least for now, and the foreseeable future.

If its just for reading stuff from front to back, then an EBook reader would be good.

However, if you constantly have to flip back and forth, I think that would get very tedious on a computer screen.

Don't change these.
