Curvature of space = gravity = acceleration

WTF??

a) what is there to WTF about?
b) gravity =/= acceleration

Locally, uniform acceleration can always be removed by a Lorentz tranformation.  Gravity only manifests itself as non uniform accelerations: tidal forces = curvature.

i LOLD

its only acceleration in that a bike going down a hill is acceleration

I think he meant curvature of Einstein's space time. Although still a stupid question.

I knew gravity wasn't caused by a spinning core of molten iron.  Thanks guys!

You were confusing gravity with a magnetic field?

You know, I could totally see myself making that mistake. Like, if I were Ironman, and had lived on a giant magnet all my life.
