Curvature of space = gravity = acceleration

a) what is there to WTF about?
b) gravity =/= acceleration

Locally, uniform acceleration can always be removed by a Lorentz tranformation.  Gravity only manifests itself as non uniform accelerations: tidal forces = curvature.
