Skills no, money no. I don't do web design, and though I have one friend who does he won't do shit for me (in University), but I could at least try to talk him into it seeing as he's into robotics and general electronic technology and scientific advancement.

If anyone can step up to the plate with the money and some skills or a willing friend that has them, that'd be fantastic though.

In all probability it's convincing moot. But a seperate chan would be cool, I like the idea of a sci-fi board - but are we talking semi-realistic sci-fi or is Douglas Adam's stuff also allowed?
