Harmonics

I have recently become interested in harmonics. I was wondering if any of you knew of any software that would allow me to play around with tones and frequencies and have a constant trigonometric visual output.

Your best bet would be to run the sound through a visualizer plugin that can do spectrum analysis or a sonogram.
