Which major?

Name: Anonymous 2009-03-05 3:56

I'm thinking of majoring in either physics, mathematics, or aerospace engineering. Triple majoring would be suicide, but double majoring might work, like between physics and math. However I'm still a bit interested in applying both math and physics so I'm considering just a single major, aerospace. Anyone in any of these majors have any input?

aerospace engineering and mathematics

Always choose ___ Engineering over math, physics, chemistry, biology, or computer science.

 Your Internet usage is causing significant problems in your life. You should evaluate the  impact of the Internet on your life and address the problems directly caused by your Internet usage.

if you're considering a math (not applied math) major, it's largely abstract theory.

so do math + physics if you're pretty much only interested in theoretical physics.

Drop everything you are doing and become a Buddhist monk at a remote temple in China.

You must be mistaken somehow.  China is an atheist country.

Buddhism in the chinese culture is not a religion, it's a way of life. Shaolin monks in China are still practicing Buddhism along with knowing to fly.

Why is it not a religion? Because there is no creator involved? It still has rituals, temples, religious orders and - certainly in the case of Mahayana - clearly posits the existence of deities and has a whole load of mythology to boot.

Call it what you like; it's semantic really. But it's close enough to my idea of religion to be called one.

China is in Tibet, at any rate.

look into engineering physics that is my major. simple put it is a physics degree with a minor in engineering. You take all the physics & math the physics majors take & ~6 upper division engineering courses in what every field you choose. so your design sequence as it is called can be in any of the engineering field my was aerospace but I switched it to computer science. you can also minor in math too. all that takes is to take 2 3000/4000 level courses since you already take so many math courses.

Just a funny one I'd like to share with you:
-1 = -1
\frac{-1}{1} = \frac{1}{-1}
\sqrt{\frac{-1}{1}} = \sqrt{\frac{1}{-1}}
\frac{\sqrt{-1}}{\sqrt{1}} = \frac{\sqrt{1}}{\sqrt{-1}}
\sqrt{-1}^2 = \sqrt{1}^2
-1 = 1

OH SHI-

RADICAL -1 DOES NOT COMPUTE

Correct. sqrt(-1) equals i. >>14 is an idiot.

Don't change these.
