Anyone help me with chem?

Not fully sure how to write a net ionic reaction with precipitates.

Here's the question.

When copper(II) nitrate solution is added to a solution of sodium hydroxide, a precipitate is formed. Write the net ionic reaction for this.

o.O Anyone understand it? I'm still in the process of learning.

What I have so far is the base equation

Cu(II)NO3(aq) + NaOH(aq) -> Cu(II)OH(s) + NaNO3(aq)

so I think I just take the things that change....not fully sure...

Cu(II) + OH(aq) -> Cu(II)OH(s)

Can anyone confirm this?

Im pretty sure thats whats being asked for.

Also maybe include the charges on the ions?

Yes include the charges of the ions.

And so on, two atoms are entering a bar (ror, a gay one) then SUDDENLY one says "I'VE LOST AN ELECTRON", the second asks "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE ?" and the first answer "I'M POSITIVE"

Cu+2 + OH- -> Cu(OH)2

One often says "copper 2 hydroxide", but Cu(II)OH is bad form; just stick with Cu(OH)2

Don't change these.
