Physics

Anyone have one, or going for a degree in physics?  I'm thinking about making it my major, although I have very little background on physics itself, though I've got the math background (I hope XD).

How is it?  Like I said, my experience with physics is very minimal, but the topics that it covers is very intriguing to me.

If you think studying physics means you have to be a recluse, then chances are you're a recluse in the first place.

I'm an Astrophysics major, i've had a girlfriend for 3 years, and have a wonderful social life. Sometimes i have to give up the occasional drinking session or party to go study for an exam or something, but otherwise i have plenty of social time.

And like someone before said, girls find hard-science majors fucking sexy as hell. It's a sign of thoughtfulness and intelligence, even if dumbasses like >>6 think it means they have to martyr themselves for their subject.

But >>6 is just letting his own ego get to him, he's so fucking smart and intelligent that he's BETTER than us for shunning a social life. OH BOY WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT YOU AND YOUR DEDICATION?!?! God, go fuck yourself. Be a normal human being, go out and try to have fun or something. There's more to life than science, believe it or not.
