Physics

Anyone have one, or going for a degree in physics?  I'm thinking about making it my major, although I have very little background on physics itself, though I've got the math background (I hope XD). 

How is it?  Like I said, my experience with physics is very minimal, but the topics that it covers is very intriguing to me.

So I'm thinking of a double major in physics (focus on astronomy/astrophysics) and aerospace engineering. I find physics very interesting but at the same time I'd like to do practical things instead of researching all the time, and engineering looks rewarding, so I'm all for that.

Is this suicide?
