Physics

Anyone have one, or going for a degree in physics?  I'm thinking about making it my major, although I have very little background on physics itself, though I've got the math background (I hope XD).

How is it?  Like I said, my experience with physics is very minimal, but the topics that it covers is very intriguing to me.

What's wrong with having a life outside of your course or do you refer more to people who simply like to cruise through or try to slack their way through their degree.

If so please do not confuse me for one of those types of people, as honestly speaking with the exception of the first year I worked my arse off the entirety of my course.  I simply believe that when you have the time you should actually try to have some time away from the subject though that becomes impossible later.
Physics is no shape way or form a subject people should take unless you are genuine interest and passion about it.
